Ghanshyam R. Tiwari – Date of Birth 1 April 1986 and a Web Designer is a jumping jack.

Do not get misled by his nonsense emotional talks. i.e Son of a Farmer, badly need a job etc.

My Company Gloscon Solutions had a bad experience hiring him. Ghanshyam came to us working at Yantaram BPO as web designer. He talked nonsense about his previous company Yantaram and said that the company did not pay him. He needed job badly. He said Yantaram would not be providing him relieving letter.

Gloscon was looking for a designer and hired him and he assured a long term commitment. And within couple of months, Ghanshyam again did a jumping act. He joined Semaphore software. Gloscon paid him till his last day of work. As per the offer terms Ghanshyam was to pay back 1 month salary in lieu of notice period. He again brought his Poverty in forefront stating that he did not even have money to pay rent (which seemed very odd as many with his salary in company enjoyed decent life).

Ghanshyam promised that he will give a post dated cheque within 1 week and that 1 week never came. Company tried to contact Ghanshyam number of times on his Cell Phone and initially he said he did not yet get salary from his new company  “Semaphore Software” but when he gets it, he will issue it but later he just ignored the phone calls.

Again – a Jumping Jack and a liar who hides behind poverty context. What Social Good, one does when you try and help? Poor and sick people like Ghanshyam should just be left to their own destiny!

And of course Gloscon/Drupal Designs did not issue any reference letter or relieving letter to Ghanshyam.

Vijay worked for nearly 18 months with us(Gloscon/Drupal Designs) and was one of the core team members.  Individually he was a great developer and did meet my expectations. As a team, I wanted to see him grow and manage a team. Already spoke to him on few occassions but he then did not have abilities to be a good team player.

Vijay’s personal life also blossomed here as he found a life mate. When Vijay met with an accident, Company even paid up some portions of his medical expenses outside the norms as well as did not deduct any leaves for his absence from office.

Yet, Vijay did something that nagged me. He just disappeared from work with almost no notice. I get an email on Sunday morning after getting salary credited – that he is quitting and joining another company in 2 days.  As per the contract terms, Vijay signed a non-compete and also has to pay 1 month compensation in lieu of notice.  Vijay also did not sign the release terms.  Company may be taking legal action against Vijay for Breach of Trust as the contract terms have to be followed.

Here is another example of someone who has good technical skills but wrong attitude. I did advise him on non-compete clause when he was in office to see us all. He assured me that he is making a platform change and will not be working on “Drupal” or assisting anyone to compete against company’s businesses.
One other thing I did not like from Vijay was his “Sleeping in office habits”. He was the only resource who just zzzzzz in office – on regular basis!!! And it was not that he slept and covered up those hours later on.. he just left on time regardless. If you are looking for core developer, Vijay would be a fantastic choice. If you are looking for someone who has inner zeal to stay back late and meet every deadline, to lead a team or someone who had the right fundamentals who can honor the commitments of contracts, you may have to give second thoughts. And if you have a critical project and you are thinking or relying on Vijay, you may have to always keep shadow resources and he can leave in a very short notice. Being technically good is just not good enough.

Vijay has neither been provided relieving letter nor experience letter since he did not give notice or notice pay and did not commit to honor the non-compete clauses of offer letter.

Mausam worked with Ahmedabad based Gloscon Solutions as Trainee and was let go once because of irregular attendance and poor performance at the office.  After emotional breakdown and because of her family situation, company employees requested that we allow her to continue. This was a mistake. Mausam again used the company as a personal gain platform for her personal relationship with one of the employees. She did not give sufficient notice as per the offer terms and did not sign the release terms.

Company has not provided her any reference or experience letter to her.
